11SecClub March 2015 - WIP01

My second attempt at 11 Sec Club.

When this was critiqued in class on Monday, my professor
suggested that Mery not be pushed off screen; because it’s missing the
potential of seeing Mery’s perspection/reaction. So if Mery were to leave
offscreen, it should be on her own account, not Malcolm; give her the power,
not him.

I personally really like the gag at the end; but there’s
something about what my professor said that makes me feel like I do need to
change the ending… I guess this is good practice not to get too attached to
your work. Hopefully, I’ll make efficient animation choices and be able to
submit by the deadline. One week left…. *shivers* wish me luck

Version 2 of Girl Morpheus and Lightsaber Animation for my
SMC ET30 class

- added
some buildings in the bg to get a better sense of perspective

slowed down the camera movement at the beginning

- put a bit more pause time after each lightsaber swing and pose

- LOTS
of tweaking in body mechanics (especially in the feet)

ruff 2D animation of how to end this clip

Lots of refenence and lots of scrapping just to get this 2 sec animation. I wonder how the pros do it.
