So sometimes, I get these error messages in maya's script editor from time to time.
They're not the biggest problems in the world. Ways to work around it, but it can get incredibly annoying from time to time. I sent out a mass email to my ET24C class and professor, and got some answers.
Thought I'd post these just to share knowledge and hopefully help someone who stumbles onto my blogspot.
If anyone else can explain any one these errors, please comment below. You're suggestions, tips, or tricks would be much appreciated.
(1) "//Error: line0: Could not save file 'D:/SMC/2014...mb"
[If autosave didn't exist, this problem would be frightening to the max. Has this ever happened to anyone before? Why would maya sometimes refuse to save?]
[I also attached an images to better explain]

Chris Fria's reply
"The first and third errors sound like they have something to do with the location of your project directory. Are you setting your project within Maya before opening your files?
If it's not a problem with setting the project, it be may something to do with the directory structure and/or naming. Try creating a new project folder with a very simple name at the top level of your hard drive. Transfer the files into the 'scenes' folder for that project. Then open them, make some changes, and try to save.
Baking keys is, indeed, useful for exporting animations to a game engine. It's also used to convert complex dynamic simulations to keyframe data."
(2) "//Error: File contains unknown nodes or data"
[would it be okay to remove those "unknown nodes or data" with File>>OptomizeSceneSize, or would it be better to leave it alone?]
Chris Fria's reply
The second error is pretty common. I've always it may have something to do with files from earlier versions of Maya or plug-ins that may be installed on one workstation that aren't installed on another. It's pretty innocuous, though, so I think it's safe to ignore.

(3) "//Error: Unable to load the image file, 'D:/SMC/2014........', for imagePlaneShape1 "
[You can always reupload the images, but just a little annoying each time you open the file; is this more a maya glitch?]
Jason Shum's reply:
"Usually the referenced images have moved but more than likely this problem and maybe even others on this list are caused by SMC resetting the folders on logout. Sometimes hidden files that are connecting the paths exist in Windows explorer but all that history gets wiped on the school computers on logout."

(4)
"// Error: Line 1070.26: Wrong number of arguments on call to buildBakingMenus. //
// Error: artAttrCreateMenuItems( $parent, $paintAttr ); // ""
[anyone know what buildBanking Menus even mean?]
Chris Fria's reply
"The fourth error is occurring when Maya tries to call the procedure 'buildBakingMenus'. If I had to guess, I'd say that has something to do with the menu options for baking animation. Have you been trying to bake keyframes?"

"You might try optimizing your scene to get rid of those error message at startup. Sometimes this error comes up because of the scene having an unknown node or 2. This happens quite often when working between different versions of Maya. In your "Optimize Scene Size" options (under File menu), you can remove "Unknown Nodes". Try doing that first. If the error still pops up, try optimizing the entire scene. "
