2D Design - Line, Texture, & Pattern
a FEW of the thumbnails for our 4th project: Line, Texture, and Pattern
can you guess which element is more dominant?
(btw, the picture is of a frog catching a screaming fly for dinner)
2D Design - Expressive Line
Heavily inspired by Briana Garcia's "wish i could be" (http://bri-chan.deviantart.com/gallery/#/doh2cn)
This class project was about Expressive lines. It's about creating a black and white composition using lines and lines only ("NO VALUE! NYAA!!") Obviously you can't just pick a random area and make it thick or thin; there needs to be thought and process... you get the point right?
We had to go through a bajillion thumbnails before settling on a final idea and then another bajillion roughs before settling on a final rough. And then FINALLY the final. Tada~ My professor is more about quantity than quality; but i'll explain about her incredibly insane (but means well) teaching style another time.
